It goes back to Katie's mom, whose maiden name was Evenson. In middle school she was pegged with the nickname "odd daughter." Even Son... Odd Daughter... Get it? Odd Daughter Paper Co. was founded in 2013 by Katie Hart in San Diego, CA and in 2018, Katie (and Odd Daughter) moved to Albuquerque, NM.
