About the maker:

Mala Candles evolved out of a passion project when Melody began making candles in her spare time after her 9-5.

In late 2019, she was fired from her job because of her "side hustle" so she took her savings and gave herself six months to see if she could turn her passion project into something more.

Four years in, the side hustle grew larger, but the mission remained the same. By choosing her candles over mass produced ones, you are making a great impact on a small business while lessening the environmental impact that typical mass produced candles have on mother earth, by choosing to shop small.
