The Hobonichi Techo has collaborated with the V&A (Victoria and Albert Museum, London). Adorned with motifs found throughout the museum, this Weeks book is designed to evoke the special feeling of spending time at the V&A.

From fashion and sculpture to Queen Victoria’s coronet and a cup of tea in the V&A Café, this design celebrates the museum’s diverse collections and a memorable day spent at the V&A.

The sturdy yet supple hardcover is wrapped in a necktie fabric, its intricate weave capturing every motif in detail, while the light blue foil stamping of 2027 elegantly contrasts with the rich maroon cover.

The cover has been constructed as a light hardcover book with some give to it so it still bends.

The Hobonichi Techo is a popular Japanese planner packed with thoughtfully designed details that make it a beloved organization tool and an open-ended format that doesn’t box users in. This version is the Weeks planner, a more compact version of the original book that gives you an overview of each week instead of a daily format.

The Weeks Techo has a page-per-week layout. The left-hand page of each spread has sections for each day of the week, with the phase of the moon printed under each date. Small dots printed on the weekly sections serve as a guide if you want to divide your schedule into morning, afternoon, and night. The right-hand page has a grid background where you can write lists and notes for the week. The footer of each spread has an inspirational quote and a mini monthly calendar for quick reference.

The beginning of the Weeks Techo contains an overview of yearly calendar dates, plus monthly calendar spreads so you can see the whole month at a glance. It has a yearly index including every date in the year, which can be used as a table of contents, a reference for birthdays and important dates, or a habit tracker. At the end of the planner are 75 extra grid pages for note-taking, plus extras including a favorite things list, a “My 100” list, and more.

Slim and lightweight, the Weeks is made with thin but high quality Tomoe River paper. It has sturdy covers and comes with a clear pocket you can stick on to the inside of the cover, as well as two ribbon bookmarks you can use to keep your place.
